Job summary

Blue Ridge Executive Search is seeking a Project Engineer for a prominent NYC mechanical firm. The role focuses on monitoring construction activities, ensuring schedule adherence and conformance to contract specifications, and reporting to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Lead Engineer.

Qualifications

• Inspects construction sites daily and coordinates with contractors.
• Interprets designs and drawings for installation.
• Prepares field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
• Creates and processes RFIs to resolve design intent.
• Maintains QA/QC policies and ensures compliance with codes and specs.
• Participates in safety inspections and reports findings.

Responsibilities

• Inspects construction site daily and coordinates with contractors.
• Reviews viability of designs and conducts value engineering.
• Attends meetings with clients or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts.
• Generates queries and reports in Prolog software.
• Prepares and disseminates documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
