Job summary
The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor invites a current 2L/3L law student to join our Legal Affairs Division as a Legal Intern in the Raleigh office for Spring 2027. You will review documentation for quality assurance, draft legal memorandums, and assist in legal research.
Some court observation may be possible. The internship offers practical experience and close supervision with a competitive hourly rate.
Qualifications
- Currently a 2L or 3L law student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient use of LexisNexis and/or Westlaw.
- Law review or journal experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Spring 2027 internship in Raleigh office.
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Supervised work on a variety of legal projects.
