Job summary

Plante Moran in the United States is offering an internship with our management consulting team. You’ll work on engagements with cities, counties, states, utility districts, and school districts to develop innovation roadmaps and harness technology.

The role emphasizes process assessment, research, enterprise technology solutions, and interaction with public sector clients. It is a non-exempt position and may require travel; strong academic performance and IT/engineering interest are preferred.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• IT and/or engineering knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Experience utilizing AI tools and effective prompting techniques is a plus.
• Some experience with selecting and/or implementing enterprise technology solutions (ERP, EAM, CIS, SIS, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage in process assessment, improvement, and redesign projects.
• Assist with research, special analyses, and project tasks requested by Managers and Partners.
• Support advanced technology research and thought leadership development.
• Assist clients with evaluating and implementing enterprise technology solutions (ERP, EAM, CIS, SIS).
• Develop relationships with clients and participate in networking/business development activities.
• Travel to client sites to support vendor demonstrations, interviews, and implementation management.
• Participate in firm professional development activities.
