Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a student for a role in the Business Technology Advisory team within management consulting in Chicago. You will support interviews, document processes, and translate business needs into practical software recommendations, helping with assessments, roadmaps, and technology options.

You’ll contribute to vendor research, RFPs, change management, training, and project documentation while developing expertise across manufacturing, distribution, and professional services

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Industrial Eng, Supply Chain, Ops Mgmt, IT Mgmt, Finance or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in how enterprise technology improves processes and performance.
• Academic performance and reliability aligned with the role.

Responsibilities

• Performing business analysis activities, including supporting client interviews and documenting processes.
• Helping translate business requirements into enterprise software recommendations.
• Assisting with software assessment, roadmap projects, and future-state technology options.
• Supporting vendor selection activities, RFPs, and client decision deliverables.
• Supporting implementation advisory projects with project tracking and documentation.
• Participating in strategic research on enterprise technology trends.
• Building industry knowledge across manufacturing, distribution, and services.
