City of Aspen is seeking a GIS Analyst to maintain GIS datasets and support multiple City departments with mapping, analysis, and training. The role involves configuring GIS apps, producing visualizations, and collaborating with partners.

The position also supports UAS operations once certified and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years GIS experience. Regular full‑time on‑site work with strong values in service and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Planning, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of GIS, geospatial analysis, mapping, or data workflows.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS technologies and data management.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Creates, maintains GIS datasets and enterprise geodatabases.
• Produces maps, dashboards and reports for City operations.
• Configures and maintains GIS web maps, apps, and services.
• Provides GIS support and training to City staff.
• Collaborates with departments and partners on GIS projects.
• RPIC duties for the UAS program when certified.
