This role requires high‑level financial management and accounting expertise, with responsibilities across budgeting, fiscal analysis, and program management for multiple state departments and projects including Workday ERP and VTBuys.

Minimum qualifications cover a range of degrees and years of professional accounting experience, with CPA certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a degree with 20 accounting credit hours and 2+ years of professional accounting/ budgeting/ auditing experience with staff management.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 4+ years of professional accounting/ budgeting/ auditing/ fiscal administration or staff management experience.
• Associate's degree with 6+ years of professional accounting experience including program/funding/staff management.
• High School diploma with 8+ years of professional accounting experience including staff management.
