Job summary

RVR Consulting Group in Florida seeks an Estimator/Project Manager to lead preconstruction estimating and transition to project management through closeout on diverse municipal and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include detailed quantity takeoffs, bid management, subcontractor solicitation, schedule, budget, quality, and owner communications.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in GC, public-sector bidding, and proficiency with Excel-based estimating and PM tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
5–10 years of experience in commercial general contracting with estimating and project management.
Experience with public-sector, municipal, or government construction projects and competitive bidding.

Responsibilities

Lead estimating process including detailed takeoffs and cost estimates across trades.
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers; negotiate pricing and terms.
Manage the bid process from invitation to submission with compliance to public procurement requirements.
Oversee project execution from contract award through closeout including scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
Maintain productive owner communications with municipal project managers and agencies.
Coordinate preconstruction permitting, constructability reviews, and constructability improvements.
