Job summary

OpenGov is seeking an ERP Solutions Engineer to guide local government finance teams through evaluating and implementing OpenGov's financial solutions.

In this role, you'll conduct discovery with government finance teams, translate their accounting workflows into system configurations, and deliver compelling demos that show how OpenGov modernizes budgeting, general ledger management, procurement, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, ERP implementation, or public sector finance advisory.
• Strong understanding of government accounting, GASB, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery with government finance teams to map current accounting practices.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations showing OpenGov capabilities for budgeting, GL, procurement, and reporting.
• Translate customer workflows into system configurations and future-state process models.
