Job summary

W2 Communications, a PR and digital marketing firm, is hiring an Account Supervisor for the public sector division serving technology companies and government agencies in the Washington, DC metro area.

You will lead strategic communications, guide media strategy, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with digital marketing and creative teams to deliver cross-functional campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in public relations or corporate communications.
• Experience in B2G/government communications preferred.
• Ability to craft and pitch stories for government-focused publications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of strategic communications initiatives, including media relations and content placement.
• Stay updated on government technology news and trends through research.
• Support leadership with client media strategy, metrics and reporting.
• Serve as primary client liaison and provide strategic counsel.
• Oversee all public relations activities and executive positioning assets.
• Collaborate with team on day-to-day account activities and ensure deliverables.
• Support new business initiatives and attend sector networking events.
• Mentor and manage junior team members.
