Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Prior law school career advising experience or significant legal practice (typically 5 years).
• Knowledge of career counseling theory and practice; ability to develop through continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to JD students and alumni on career goals, job search strategies, resumes, and interviewing.
• Develop and deliver job search workshops, panels, webinars, and related resources.
• Serve as primary OCS contact for internships, fellowships, and public sector opportunities; work with government agencies, non-profits, and state courts.
• Engage in National Association for Law Placement activities and coordinate with allied departments.
• Support administration of post-graduate public service fellowships and related programs.
