What you'll be doing…

Verizon’s Global Enterprise and Public Sector marketing team will look to you to lead the development, execution, management, and optimization of end-to-end marketing campaigns targeting Federal and Public Sector customers that align with overall business strategies and drive demand for Verizon Business Group’s products and services. You will work with the Public Sector Associate Director of Growth Marketing, the Sr. Directors of Growth and Field Marketing, and other Program leads in the creation of campaign strategy as well as tactical planning, execution, and reporting.

This role demands a deep understanding of the Public Sector space, Account Based Marketing (1:many, 1:few, and 1:1), B2B marketing strategies, data-driven decision making, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to ensure alignment with business goals. You will partner with industry SMEs, Market Insights, Field Marketing, ABM Marketing, and Sales teams to build insights-led, customer-focused campaigns and then collaborate with creative and channel marketing teams to execute them. Strong analytical skills, creativity, and expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms are essential for this position.

You will be responsible for planning, executing and managing marketing campaigns to increase leads, brand awareness, customer engagement and drive demand for VBG products and services. You will be responsible for the overall campaign management, including market research, target audience segmentation and building ICPs, content development and execution, digital marketing campaign performance and tactical recommendations. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise in marketing strategies to drive results. You will operate by leading peers from cross-functional teams including but not limited to: Sales, Sales Enablement, Marketing Strategy, Growth Campaign Strategy, Field Marketing, ABM Marketing, Paid Media, Digital Marketing, CMO, Data Science & Customer Analytics, and Tech Operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Partnering with Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Customer Market Research, and internal and external SMEs to develop a deep understanding of Federal and other Public Sector customers, to include key business challenges, their top operational objectives as well as their buying behaviors.
  • Working with the segment teams, SMEs, and Marketing Intelligence to identify target accounts, Ideal Customer Profiles, and highly propensed buying groups.
  • Designing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns tailored to engage the unique needs of Federal and Public Sector customers and their constituents, ensuring that campaigns align with business objectives and brand values.
  • Developing an end-to-end customer journey with tactics and scoring to identify engaged customers and accounts and drive them to 1:1 sales engagement.
  • Developing a content strategy for the entire buyer group, and all stages of the buying journey.
  • Developing clear value propositions for each campaign that addresses customer pain points and showcases the solutions that help businesses solve those challenges.
  • Utilizing SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, webinars, content syndication and other digital tools to optimize campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign and sales performance using key metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI. Adjusting strategies as necessary based on data-driven insights. Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities to anticipate shifts in the industry and adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • Regularly reporting results to Sales and Marketing leadership.
