Job summary

EY is seeking a staff in the Government & Public Sector Assurance practice to provide quality assurance services to federal, state, local, and education clients. You will act as a primary contact, build client relationships, and contribute to audit execution while learning industry issues and regulatory developments.

You should have a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting/Finance and be pursuing CPA credentials, with strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or graduate degree and approximately 1 year of related work experience.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance or higher.
• Sufficient coursework to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Travel to client sites; hybrid work environment; willingness to travel 25–30%.
