Job summary

EY in the United States is expanding its Government & Public Sector Assurance practice, seeking staff to become a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and to build expertise within client industries. You will learn current issues, professions, and business developments while supporting the assurance team in delivering high-quality services.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, professional development, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree and approximately 1 year of related work experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance or higher
• Sufficient coursework to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination
• Excellent project management skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Candidates should be willing to travel on average 25% to 30% or more in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for our clients and build relationships with team members
• Learn about current issues, the profession, and business developments relevant to the client's industry
• Document the execution of audit procedures and challenge past techniques
• Collaborate with assurance team members to set goals and responsibilities
• Identify opportunities and contribute ideas to improve service delivery
