Job summary

EY, a global professional services firm, is seeking an Analyst for our Government & Public Sector team in the US. The role supports the Assurance team with audit reporting, documentation, and data analysis to deliver high-quality client deliverables for federal engagements.

You'll collaborate with a national, distributed team, apply accounting and auditing concepts, manage documentation, and help monitor scope, schedule, and costs while developing your skills in MS Office, Tableau, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance or higher.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage milestones, budgets and deadlines.
• Experience with accounting, business management and/or technology concepts.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn Tableau and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit reporting and documentation by compiling data and reviewing results.
• Identify audit issues and raise them for resolution.
• Apply accounting and auditing concepts to client situations.
• Manage documentation and execution of audit procedures.
• Develop and deliver audit and accounting client deliverables.
• Perform financial and audit data analytics.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, and progress; track costs.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders across EY groups.
