The City of Beverly Hills is seeking an Associate Planner to perform current and advance planning, reviewing development projects for consistency with the Municipal Code, State laws, and CEQA, and to provide zoning information at the public counter.

As a journey-level professional, you will work under supervision, support planning initiatives, and demonstrate strong written/oral communication and customer service skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in planning, architecture, economics, geography, public policy or related field.
• Master's degree desirable.
• Three or more years of progressively responsible current and/or advanced planning or community development experience.
• AICP desirable.
• Possession of a California driver's license.
• Six months of internship experience may be considered as part of work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyze development projects for consistency with the City’s Municipal Code, State laws, and CEQA.
• Provide zoning information and assist at the City’s public counter.
• Perform current and advance planning duties with supervision and progress review.
