Job summary

Liberum in Washington State seeks a seasoned AI authority to lead public-sector AI adoption, roadmaps, governance, and rapid prototyping.

You will engage agency executives, craft governance structures, and mentor teams while translating business aims into robust technical architectures with privacy and security at the forefront.

You will be Liberum's public-facing AI voice, publishing thought leadership and guiding flagship engagements to build trusted state-wide AI capability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology architecture or related field.
• 3+ years focused on AI or GenAI delivery.
• Hands-on experience developing AI roadmaps.
• Proficiency with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI design patterns.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical decisions.
• Demonstrated communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain practical AI roadmaps for clients.
• Translate client readiness and value into phased plans understood by stakeholders.
• Define governance structures and success metrics for delivery tiers.
• Stay current on AI developments and translate into practical guidance for clients.
• Advise on model selection, platform tradeoffs, and GenAI capabilities.
• Prototype working solutions using AI-native workflows and agentic IDEs.
• Guide deployment decisions, including build-vs-buy and orchestration.
