Job summary

Scale is seeking a Public Sector Delivery leader to ensure our government customers achieve their AI/ML objectives. You will triage issues, drive change, and work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and other public sector teams to deliver impactful AI systems.

You will leverage data and analytics to align internal resources, create scalable processes, and transition AI/ML technologies into working public sector solutions. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• 3+ years of stakeholder management or customer-facing experience.
• Technical background in CS, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• Deep understanding of ML operations processes.
• Track record of structured, analytics-driven problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% (50% travel nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by solving undefined technical and operational challenges for Public Sector customers.
• Create solutions from scratch or dramatically improve existing ones using technical concepts and tools.
• Use data and analytics to align internal resources and add direct value to customers.
• Transition AI/ML technologies into working Public Sector products when requirements are undefined.
• Partner with engineering and operations to build AI systems for government use cases.
• Lead a cross-functional team to exceed AI/ML objectives.
• Manage long-term health of the customer base and preempt risks.
• Identify repeatable, scalable ways to deliver customer success for future clients.
• Address engineering problems alongside product teams.
