North Carolina Council of District Attorneys seeks an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations, build systems, policies, and internal controls for the new agency. You will provide dependable financial information to leadership and support prosecutors across the state.

You will supervise a small team, manage cash, payroll, grants, and reporting in NCFS, and collaborate with state partners to ensure compliant, accurate financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Five years of accounting experience in a government agency.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations across AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, grants, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls for the new agency.
• Supervise a small fiscal staff and ensure timely financial services.
