Job summary

Jobtailor in Birmingham, AL seeks a dispatcher to support the public safety agency by handling emergency and non-emergency communications in a busy center. You will enter service requests into CAD and relay information to the Public Safety Dispatcher, while providing citizens with pertinent information for non-emergency calls.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-oriented position.
• No felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violent offenses or issues of moral turpitude.
• Willing to submit to a general and criminal background check.
• Willing to work an 8- or 12-hour shift on any shift or day (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays) and overtime as needed.
