The City of Baltimore is seeking a Public Safety Supervisor at the Convention Center to lead the security team, schedule staff, and ensure the safety of guests, employees, and the facility. You will prepare and review reports, investigate incidents, and supervise daily operations to maintain order during events.

You must have the ability to enforce policies, work a rotating schedule including weekends, and communicate effectively with leadership and the public.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of security officer experience with at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Provides security and safety for guests, employees, property, and the facility.
• Responds to requests for assistance in a courteous manner.
• Monitors movement and conduct of officers and the public during events.
• Enforces rules and maintains order near the Convention Center.
• Reports significant incidents and ensures timely completion of reports.
• Oversees training for Public Safety staff and coordinates event needs.
• Reviews subordinate reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains staff uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
