Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license; required public safety/security licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire; licensure timeframes take precedence over internal ones.
• Ability to read and write the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors.
• Promote and practice fire and safety prevention.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy Mission, Values, and Service Standards.
