Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated security professional in St. Louis to protect coworkers, patients, and visitors. You will promote fire and safety prevention, conduct security rounds, and respond to incidents in a manner consistent with Mercy’s Mission and values.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and valid driver’s license. Completion of Basic 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 90 days and licensure within 30 days of hire are required.

• Must be able to read and write English fluently.
• Must pass Functional Job Screening.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Public Safety/Security licensure within 30 days of hire as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy coworkers, patients, and visitors.
• Promote and practice fire and safety prevention.
