Job summary

Mercy seeks dedicated healthcare security professionals to maintain a safe environment for coworkers, patients and visitors. You will support fire and safety prevention while upholding Mercy's mission, values and service standards.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and a valid driver's license; completion of a 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 90 days; and ability to read and write English.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, 18 years of age or older.
• Licensure: Valid driver’s license and required security licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: Passing score on Functional Job Screening.
• Certification/Registration: Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire.
• Language: Ability to read and write the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties to safeguard Mercy coworkers, patients and visitors.
• Promote and practice fire and safety prevention in the Mercy environment.
