Job summary

Skydio is building out a public-safety focused regional sales leadership team. This Key Account Director role leads a regional group of account leaders selling to public safety agencies, driving hiring, coaching, and pipeline discipline without carrying own accounts.

You will set standards for how the team operates, coach to AI-enabled tools, and build a predictable forecast. This is a remote role in the US with leadership responsibilities across the region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading quota-carrying sellers as a first-line manager with year-by-year attainment.
• 4+ years in enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales with multi-stakeholder deals.
• Proven ability to recruit sellers and build a strong pipeline.
• Strong coaching approach with real examples of performance improvement.
• Experience selling to public safety or similar sectors is a plus.
• Daily use of AI tools and scalable workflows in sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring for your region, build a talent pipeline, and close candidates.
• Coach the team to improve deal strategy and field execution.
• Design territory, pipeline, and forecast processes for predictability.
• Partner with Channel, Sales Eng., BDR, Marketing, and Government Relations.
• Represent region with executive presence and drive MEDDPICC discipline.
