Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Psychology and two years of assessment and counseling experience.
• Licensed to practice psychology in Texas.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment psychological testing and evaluations for applicants in corrections, law enforcement, telecommunications and civilian roles.
• Assess psychological suitability for high-stress public safety environments.
• Administer, score, interpret, and integrate psychological instruments and interviews.
• Prepare objective, defensible evaluation reports.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to agency personnel and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain documentation and records for evaluations.
• Develop and deliver training for supervisors and staff on psychological topics.
• Provide crisis support and brief therapeutic interventions when appropriate.
• Consult with leaders on organizational factors affecting employee well-being.
