Job summary

First Responders Wellness Center (FRWC) seeks a Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Public Safety for a full-time, on-site role in the Greater Chicago Area. Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Psychologist (or license-eligible) in the relevant U.S. state.
• Experience with trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, CBT, exposure-based treatments) for first responders.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for first responders and public safety personnel.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and crisis intervention.
• Administer and interpret pre-employment, fitness-for-duty, and special duty evaluations.
• Coordinate care with other providers and departmental leadership as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, timely clinical and evaluative reports.
