Job summary

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in Chicago seeks a Supervising Performance Analyst to supervise performance analysts and oversee day-to-day operations of the Public Safety section, coordinating with other OIG sections as needed.

The role conducts independent evaluations of CPD, COPA, and the Chicago Police Board, develops data-driven recommendations, leads site visits, drafts reports, and guides project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years in program auditing or operations analysis
• Master’s degree or higher plus 4 years in program auditing or operations analysis

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams conducting inquiries into police accountability operations, policies, programs, and practices
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify areas of concern and improvements
• Draft, review, and edit reports with qualitative and quantitative analysis, findings, and recommendations
• Develop recommendations for police accountability reforms based on best practices and research
• Attend stakeholder meetings and participate in community engagement
