The City of Chicago’s Office of the Inspector General is seeking a Senior Information Analyst to develop and apply advanced data analytics, extracting near real-time information to support investigations.
Responsibilities include data extraction from multiple sources, quality reviews, dashboard development, and SQL scripting to meet data requirements, with a focus on analytical decision support and reporting.
Under the guidance of a chief forensic data analyst, this position develops and employs innovative techniques for data analysis, resulting in the extraction of critical, near real-time information. Senior information analysts are responsible for collecting and analyzing data to support OIG staff in the conduct of assigned investigations and develops and modifies computer applications and scripts to extract requested information.
Range: $78,768 – $128,316 (annual increases). Starting $78,768 (non-negotiable); Post six-month review $82,524.

Travel outside Chicago is not required. Standard office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., flexibility permitted.
