Qualifications

One year of relevant experience in public safety, corrections, EMS, or military.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Valid CT Guard Card required.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Two years of relevant experience preferred.
CPR and First Aid preferred.
Multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, customer service focused assistance to the Hartford HealthCare Community.
Patrols and checks credentials and provides information or directions.
Respond to hazards, investigate security incidents and manage emergencies.
Maintain knowledge of instructions, policies and procedures and perform accordingly.
Record activity; reports and documentation; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
Inform leadership of unusual situations and request assistance as needed.
