Job summary

Mercy is seeking a security professional to provide fire, safety, and security protection for coworkers, patients, and visitors. You will promote and practice fire and safety prevention while performing duties aligned with Mercy's Mission, Values, and Service Standards.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate Public Safety/Security licensure. IAHSS Basic certification is preferred; college degree is a plus for preferred applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire).
• Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure).
• IAHSS Basic completed.

Position Details:

Licensure:

• Valid State drivers license
• Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)

Certification/Registration:

• Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isn't a licensing body,

Completed IAHSS Basic.

Other Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to read and write the English language
