Job summary

Mercy in Lebanon, MO is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect coworkers, patients, and visitors by enforcing fire, safety and security practices in daily operations. The role requires readiness to obtain licensure within 90 days and to communicate effectively in English as part of a safety-focused team.

As a full-time security professional, you will promote fire prevention, respond to incidents, and uphold Mercy's mission and service standards while working closely with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and age 18+ requirements.
• Valid driver license and licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire; IAHSS Basic as applicable.

Position Details:

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Education:
  • High School Diploma
  • 18 years of age or older
• Licensure:
  • Valid State drivers license required
  • Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
• Experience:
• Certification/Registration:
  • Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isn’t a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic.
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
  • Ability to read and write the English language
