Job Description

The Public Safety Officer provides a safe environment by conducting security checks, controlling traffic, responding to breaches, and investigating suspicious activities. Responsibilities include enforcing laws, completing reports, and assisting law enforcement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Public interaction work experience; healthcare security experience preferred
• Driver's License in applicable state
• CPR and Basic Security Officer Certification within 6 months of hire
• Satisfactory driving records and no criminal record

Physical Demands

Constant standing, walking, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and use of safety equipment as needed.

Other Requirements

• Use of safety equipment such as HEPA masks for infection prevention
• Ability to travel between facilities
