Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and manual rounds.
• Coordinates responses to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policies and procedures, ensuring equitable enforcement.
• Follows guidelines and monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Collaborates with the Environment of Care committee for a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education initiatives.
• Drives as needed for company business.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare security or related field preferred.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State Driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
