Job summary

Bladen County is seeking a Computer Analyst to support county IT and GIS addressing systems. You will maintain computer systems, network infrastructure, and provide on-call support for the Sheriff’s Office and E911 Center.

Work under supervision and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure reliable information technology operations. The ideal candidate will install hardware, troubleshoot issues, manage MSAG data, and produce concise technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or data processing with 1–2 years of experience.
• Ability to design/implement computer applications to meet business needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Sheriff's Office IT and 911 Center.
• Install and train users; connect new equipment and peripherals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer, radio, and network systems.
• Assist with GIS addressing and MSAG data entry and updates.
• Prepare technical and administrative reports for decision-making.
