Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of public human resources administration.
• Intermediate knowledge of classification and pay, employee relations, testing and selection, training and applied research.
• Proficiency with personal computers and data processing programs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on development and administration of classification, compensation, training, and benefits programs.
• Supports communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Assists with recruitment and selection; coordinates new hire processes and testing.
• Supports employee relations; maintains files and records; prepares reports and analytics.
• Maintains payroll/personnel system data and resolves data issues.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and department policies.
• Performs related HR tasks as required.
