Job summary

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking Field Operations Technicians to support law enforcement and highway operations in the Holbrook area. You will work under supervision, performing a variety of tasks and coordinating activities on behalf of the department.

Responsibilities include patrolling roadways, incident response, collision investigations, UAS operations, and reporting. Candidates must have a high school diploma and be willing to travel within the state; the role requires

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned roadways to assist stranded motorists and manage roadway closures and detours.
• Responds to calls of questionable situations and coordinates appropriate actions.
• Performs technical assignments such as collision investigations, UAS operations, blood draws, towing, and highway safety tasks.
• Records detailed reports and logs to document activities.
• Assists the public with on-scene aid, traffic control, and public safety support.
• Testifies in court using written records and reports.
• Assists troopers with emergency and routine duties.
• Performs special tasks as directed.
