Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform support, administrative, or technical tasks based on area needs.
• Research, prepare reports, and provide instruction on assigned topics.
• Operate unmanned aerial systems and perform evidence collection and highway safety operations.
• Obtain and maintain specialty certifications such as Drug Recognition Expert or Firearms Instructor.
• Assist the public with first-on-scene aid (e.g., traffic control, fire control, motorist assistance).
• Supervise trainees, pre-hires, and interns.
• Assist troopers as directed with emergency and routine duties.
• Perform special projects as directed.
