San Bernardino County's Sheriff's Department is recruiting a Facilities Project Manager to oversee office remodels and minor capital improvement projects across county facilities. The role includes managing projects from scope through completion, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.

The ideal candidate has two years of experience in remodeling projects, can handle bids and contracts, and may have experience in correctional facilities.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience managing or coordinating minor capital improvement or remodeling projects for commercial, industrial, or office buildings.
• Responsibilities must include collecting bids, administering contracts, scheduling contractors, and following up on work in progress.
• Residential building experience is not considered qualifying.
• The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating and/or managing projects within a correctional facility.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate office remodel projects and minor capital improvement projects.
• Oversee installation of carpeting and painting for County office buildings; removal and relocation of walls, doors, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
• Prepare maintenance contracts, purchase orders, cost estimates and status reports; monitor the work of construction contractors to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
