Job summary

The City of West Hollywood is seeking a diligent, flexible Public Safety Coordinator for its Public Safety Division to organize and oversee municipal emergency operations and disaster response services.

This position trains personnel and the community in emergency preparedness and service protocols, reviews policies and plans, and acts as a liaison with external agencies to facilitate coordinated action and manage disaster relief volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice or related field.
• 4–5 years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
