Job summary

American Addiction Centers in Milwaukee operates a 24/7 Security Operations Center. We are seeking a Public Safety Telecommunicator I to monitor systems, receive calls, and coordinate rapid responses.

The role requires APCO certification within 12 months, HS diploma, and experience with alarms. The position is full-time on the 3rd shift with every other weekend off, onsite at Advocate Command Center.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience responding to alarms and monitoring security hardware.
• APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator I certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and dispatch staff to incidents.
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and input data into security systems.
• Prioritize calls and coordinate with Public Safety for incident life cycle.
