Job summary

The Town of Natick’s Natick Police Department is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher for a full-time position. You will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch Police, Fire, and EMS responses, with additional clerical and support duties as needed.

Shifts include Midnight–8:00 AM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, and 4:00 PM– Midnight. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance and a defined contribution retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong typing skills are required.
• The ability to work under stressful conditions is necessary.
• Experience is preferred, but new applicants will be considered.

Compensation

$ 27.7269 hour at Step 0. The full pay ranges from $27.7269 - $35.2538 per hour, with step increases outlined in the union agreement.
