Job summary

City of Charlotte is seeking a skilled I&T Data Services Analyst to design, develop, and maintain data workflows and back-end logic that support CMPD’s crime analysis and data analytics. The role bridges data engineering and analytics, improving data extraction, transformation, validation, storage, and reporting for decision support.

You will work on ETL pipelines, API integrations, relational databases, and reporting environments, using SQL Server, Oracle, Python, SSIS/SSRS, and .NET

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent and seven (7) years of related work experience OR 2 Year College Degree and five (5) years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Level Degree and three (3) year of related work experience OR or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to successfully perform the essential job duties

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data workflows and ETL processes.
• Build and support ETL pipelines to move data between CMPD systems and reporting environments.
• Create, maintain, and secure data integrations using REST, JSON, XML and authentication methods.
• Support database design and maintenance including stored procedures and reporting data sources.
• Enhance and maintain SSPSSRS reports, subscriptions, and web applications.
