Central Utah 911 is seeking experienced Public Safety Communications Officers for lateral transfers. This role requires proven PSAP telecomm/dispatch experience and current certifications, with duties centered on call-taking, emergency response coordination, and rapid dispatch to police, fire, and medical units.

Qualified applicants must have 3 years emergency telecommunication experience, Utah POST certification, and active EMD, CPR, and BCI credentials.

Qualifications

• 3 years emergency telecommunicator experience within a PSAP.
• Fully trained in call-taking for non-emergency and 911 dispatch.
• Utah POST dispatch certification.
• Current EMD, CPR and BCI certifications.
• Familiar with Motorola Flex and Motorola Vesta.
