Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates base radio station for Public Safety and dispatches officers to emergencies and locations.
• Maintain a dispatch log for all activities and events.
• Answer non-emergency and emergency lines; gather information and dispatch appropriate units.
• Use NCIC teletype to obtain vehicle and person information and communicate alerts.
• Operate machinery and equipment for daily tasks.
• Mentor Communications Specialists and coordinate field Training.
