Responsibilities

• Operates telephone, radio, and other communications equipment on an assigned shift.
• Receives complaints and emergency calls and dispatches appropriate personnel and equipment.
• Maintains radio contact with units and keeps current information on units in service.
• Monitors alarms and dispatches units as needed.
• Maintains records of emergencies and dispatches; relays messages via radio.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
