The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is seeking a dependable Communications Dispatcher to operate radio and teletype equipment, dispatch messages, and coordinate with field personnel across shifts. Responsibilities include handling OLETS/NLETS/NCIC queries, maintaining logs, and developing training materials.

Formación

• Requires U.S. citizenship and a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required for dispatch operations.
• Ability to interpret information quickly and convey it clearly to field personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Operate radio communications equipment and dispatch messages on assigned shifts.
• Access and interpret records through dispatch systems (OLETS/NLETS/NCIC).
• Relay information to field personnel and agency officials during incidents.
• Maintain written logs of shift activities and outgoing messages.
• Coordinate with divisions and external agencies on operations and training.
