Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking an Administrative Professional 1 to support the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Jackson, OH. The role requires strong clerical and data entry skills, with duties including maintaining reports and drafting correspondence.

The position is full-time, 8:00am–5:00pm, with multiple pay increases over the first years and free parking. Compensation is $22.59 per hour, with union OCSEA representation.

Qualifications

• 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications.
• For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized reports & databases.
