Job summary

Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) is seeking a Public Relations Project Coordinator to support its Public Relations and Communications Strategy team. The role focuses on coordinating media relations, advancing thought leadership initiatives, and assisting with speaking engagements and conference participation across ASWB.

Responsibilities

• Support development and distribution of press releases, media advisories, and pitches.
• Maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports.
• Assist in briefing materials and talking points for media interviews.
• Coordinate op-eds, bylined articles, and thought leadership content.
• Identify speaking opportunities and coordinate logistics for conferences and events.
