Qode is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to shape and protect our public image. You will develop strategic communications, manage media relations, and craft narratives across platforms.

In this hybrid Atlanta role, you’ll collaborate with marketing and leadership, coordinate press activities, monitor coverage, and measure campaign impact while advancing the company’s reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations or communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with excellent grammar and style.
  • Proven press release and media pitch-writing ability.
  • Established media relationships and media relations knowledge.
  • Experience with media monitoring tools and social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to boost brand visibility and reputation.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Write and distribute press releases, advisories, and PR materials.
  • Manage media inquiries and provide information promptly and professionally.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences. You will work closely with various internal departments, including marketing, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all communication channels. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Public Relations Specialist or in a similar communications role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR collateral.
  • Established relationships with media contacts and a strong understanding of media relations best practices.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring tools and social media management platforms.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR software.
