Knowesis seeks two Public Relations Managers to craft strategic communications, develop outreach materials, and shape executive messaging for stakeholder engagement and council operations.

The role is Public Relations Manager I, based in Arlington, VA with approved Telework, and carries an anticipated salary range of $80,000 - $105,000. A DHS Public Trust suitability is required to proceed.

• Develop a wide range of communication products, including emails, memos, public messaging, graphic design, and social media content.
• Create outreach materials, executive summaries, and externally facing products.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, solicit participation, and prepare materials.
• Manage designated mailboxes, acknowledge inquiries promptly, and maintain inquiry logs in accordance with policy.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop a wide range of communication products, including emails, memos, public messaging, graphic design, and social media content.
• Create outreach materials, executive summaries, and externally facing products.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, solicit participation, and prepare materials.
• Manage designated mailboxes, acknowledge inquiries promptly, and maintain inquiry logs in accordance with policy.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in strategic communications, public relations, or graphic design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (Public Trust).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing communications for federal advisory committees or executive leadership.
